Background

Sam Blakeley

My name is Sam Blakeley. I've been a web developer and entrepreneur for over 20 years.

Five years ago I wanted to build an engaging online community. I approached a professional web development company and was quoted $50,000 for something very basic.

I then searched for a solution that we could install and customize. I found one for $10,000 but it was too complicated to make simple changes and very slow to use.

I decided to build my own online community framework. It gave me all the features I wanted, but it also gave me the flexibility and performance that other solutions could not offer.

Finally, I created the business Elastic Communities to share my experience and expertise with other companies looking to build engaging communities.

Why Use Elastic Communities
